Kings Mountain State Park, near Blacksburg, South Carolina, is well liked destination with visitors into the Upcountry. The park is situated near the border with North carolina and is adjacent to Kings Mountain National Military Park, site of an important Revolutionary War battle. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) in the 1930s, Kings Mountain State Park encompasses 6,885 massive areas. Many of the park’s original facilities are listed round the National Register of Historic Places.
